Leather is a natural material, strong yet sensitive, much like our own skin. With proper care, it will age beautifully and develop its own unique character over time.

Handle with care. Keep your leather away from sharp objects, chemicals, perfumes and cosmetics, which may stain or damage the surface.
For cleaning and refreshing, gently wipe with a slightly damp, soft cloth or use a leather-care product specifically recommended for your type of leather.
For dark marks, gently use a clean, white rubber. Always test first on a discreet area.
Let it dry naturally. If the leather becomes wet, allow it to dry at room temperature. Never use direct heat, a hairdryer or a radiator.
Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Although Aumorfia uses high-performance leathers and flexible adhesives, prolonged exposure to high temperatures or strong sunlight may affect the leather, colour or construction.
Metal details: Silver and gold-plated parts can be gently polished with an appropriate jewellery-cleaning cloth. Avoid any cleaning solution that may come into contact with or damage the leather.
Studs and hardware are made from stainless steel or 925 sterling silver, depending on the piece.

Every Aumorfia piece is entirely handmade, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Natural variations in the leather are part of its character, while softness, creasing and subtle changes on the inner side will naturally develop with wear.

These are not imperfections, but signs of a piece being lived in and loved, giving the leather its distinctive, beautifully aged character.
